I think it's time for me to try to remember the phonetic alphabet.

There have been a few times recently where I've gotten letters mixed up with people, so it would be helpful to know this list:

Alpha
Bravo
Charlie
Delta
Echo
Foxtrot
Golf
Hotel
India
Juliet
Kilo
Lima
Mike
November
Oscar
Papa
Quebec
Romeo
Sierra
Tango
Uniform
Victor
Whiskey
X-ray
Yankee
Zulu

Although I probably won't ever say "Z as in Zulu". I had to look that up to know that was a South African ethnic group.

did you know alternatively you can use the UN alphabet as opposed to the NATO one you have up. they use cocoa instead of charlie so it feels wussier so most people at my work use the NATO alphabet.

also, fyi, in Japan they use baker instead of bravo...bravo is too hard to pronounce...i'm trying to think what the katakana for that would be...

thanks, tommers! i've always wanted to learn this thingy. i remember asking my army friends to teach it to me. but my own phonetic alphabet works prety well, too. when i had to differentiate "b" from "d" in class, i would bark, "BANANA, not DINOSAUR!" while i waved my hands in the air.
