I just signed up for the waiting list for Yahoo! Mail Beta and locked up the lee.tommy Yahoo! mail address.

Yahoo! Mail Beta is similar to Outlook in both appearance and function. I hope I get to use it soon...

Here's the CNET review.

Came back from Stephen's bachelor party this weekend in Lake Tahoe...

Log of Saturday's snowboarding trip:
6:30 AM: Woke up after 3.5 hours of sleep
7:30 AM: Picked up our snowboarding rentals and ate breakfast
8:30 AM: Started driving toward Kirkwood. Our cabin was about 5 minutes from Heavenly, but we decided beforehand to go to Kirkwood...
9:00 AM: It was snowing pretty hard, so we had to put on snow chains on our cars. The person who gave Stephen his chains gave him the wrong size, so he had to go buy new ones.
9:30 AM: With our chains on, we started off toward Kirkwood again.
9:32 AM: I was in Allen's car, and we noticed a strange noise on the left side and then the right side of our car. When we got out of the car, we saw that neither of the chains were still on their tires.
9:50 AM: Allen found the broken chains on the road and then had to find somewhere to park his car. We all squeezed into 3 cars.
10:45 AM: We finally arrived at Kirkwood, but we couldn't find Jerry's car (which was at the end of our caravan). He had all of the snowboards, but none of the people in his car were picking up their cell phone.
11:30 AM: It turns out that Jerry's car had parked in a different lot, and so they finally found us at this time.
11:45 AM: Finally, everyone was ready to go and the guys got on the first lift. 11:45! Had we gone to Heavenly, they probably would've started snowboarding at 9...

I say "they" because I didn't go snowboarding because of my shoulder problems. So I sat in the lounge, took a nap, read a book, and ate lunch for the next 3 hours.

3:00 PM:
Some of the guys were already finished at this point since conditions weren't very good.
4:15 PM: Everyone was done by this point, so we went back to the car.
4:30 PM: Chongo's car wouldn't start, so we had to use jumper cables to try to get it working.
4:45 PM: After a few different attempts, Chongo's car started and we were on our way back to the cabin.

Fortunately, the rest of the night wasn't quite as eventful...

A lot of my co-workers went to Harvey Mudd, but I have to say they have one of the worst mascots ever: a cinder block.

Their school's website describes him as follows:

"Wally Mudd" personifies the bumps, or "warts," as Mudders affectionately call them, that are the gravity-defying cinder blocks added as trim on most of the buildings on campus.

Wow...

The KCPC English Ministry is having a reunion in early March so that everyone will have an excuse to check out 50 Northridge. I believe this is the first EM-wide reunion in the ministry's 14 years.

Hopefully we'll get more details soon, but please get the word out in the meantime...

Funny soccer goals from Google video.

I actually like the first one the best, where the guy scores when the defender kicks the ball off his face and into the net.

(The clip is about 2 minutes long.)

Apparently, I'm a "true Seinfeld supporter".

Here's how I was described after getting 12 out of the 14 questions in this quiz correct.

"You're one of the gang, but fortunately, you don't yet need to seek out a support group. Your loyalty has not reached the point of obsession. What separates you from full-fledged Seinfeldians is your attempt to have a life on some Thursday nights. Keep it up."

I'll accept that...

How I spent my vacation in LA:

-My parents and I have a tradition of going to their old church for Christmas Eve service. So we did that, and also did some shopping on the 26th.

-Hung out at Mejeld and Gower's place with my class people on Christmas and New Year's Eve.

-Spent some time with high school friends. I hadn't seen some of them in over 6 years, so it was cool seeing what everyone was up to.
