Currently listening to Ender's Shadow:



Since I'm listening to this right after listening to Ender's Game, I will have listened to the same story told from 2 different perspectives... in about 30 hours.

yeah - it's a great series - both ender and ender's shadow. except, the ender series gets a little philosophical and weird as it goes...

agreed, I'm reading speaker of the dead, and it's pretty philosophical...I'm wondering if I should just skip to the action parts because I don't think I can read anymore without falling asleep.

i came as close to skipping parts w/o actually doing it - i basically let my eyes just run over the philosophical stuff, until it got to the action. ender's shadow series is much more action and story oriented.

definitely much more action packed on the Bean saga. Ender's story telling become way to complicated with his guilt of killing the buggers and seeing them find a new home. I tend to skim over a lot of the philosophical mumbo jumbo....but it's pretty damn slow and grueling.

what?? the philosophical stuff is the good part! and speaker for the dead is like the best book in the series! (after ender's game, of course)
