It's been awhile since I last checked the Nielsen ratings for network television.

Last week, 11 of the top 13 rated shows on network television were aired on CBS, with the only 2 non-CBS shows being a pair of Law and Order shows on NBC.

Is this happening because more and more people have cable nowadays (except the older population who watches CBS?)

Maybe cable programming is cutting ratings for ABC and NBC more than it does for CBS. Just a thought; there might be a better reason why CBS is dominating so much...
