Line of the day:
-- -1 9- -- -- -1 7- 1- -4 6- So you're asking, "What the heck is this? The visiting and road inning-by-inning scores of a game at Coors field? Some weird programming language that uses dashes and numbers?" Nope. Believe it or not, these were the first 10 frames of my bowling performance last night, for a score of 29. Twenty-nine. And scary enough, I was actually trying for all 10 frames. I wasn't experimenting throughout the game and trying to put a weird spin on the ball. And it's not like this is the first time I've ever bowled in my life. I've gone at least 30 times, and 5 times within the last 4 months. I'm not very good, but I usually average about 85. What happened was that I was hitting the right gutter with remarkable precision. Maybe I was celebrating the start of baseball season, subconsciously living out my dream of being a side-armed major league pitcher, and trying to hit the right corner. I don't know. But this plague followed me into the next game, too, because I followed up the 29 with a 47. Maybe I contracted Steve Blass disease. 0 Comments:Post a Comment |
