I've almost been in 2 car accidents in the past 10 days.
-The first near-disaster happened on the Richmond Bridge. Most of the cars were going 40 mph when everyone in front of me suddenly started to slow down. Several of the cars in front and behind me almost hit the cars in front of them, and I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of me. Unfortunately, the car that was 5 cars behind me didn't stop in time and there was a pretty big accident. From what I could tell, the 2 cars involved were smashed up pretty badly. I'm definitely lucky that wasn't me. -The second time was while I was driving to work today. One of the cars ahead of me badly cut off the car behind him, and this caused a similar reaction as the story above. The car behind me had a lot of smoke coming out of his car as he pushed his brakes to the max, and I ended up running over a piece of someone's hubcap. Fortunately, there wasn't an accident this time. Thank God I'm OK, and hopefully I'll stop following cars as closely as I have been. 0 Comments:Post a Comment |
